Profile bar machining centres

Our bar machining centres have been specifically designed for use in all production lines that have been especially designed for the machining of material combinations, as opposed to our BAZ cutting and machining centres (e.g. PVC + steel reinforcements).

The profiles are machined in a continuous feed-through process, which is used in all systems manufactured and supplied by SCHIRMER Maschinen GmbH. Transport tongs equipped with highly dynamic magnetic linear motors are used to move the profile bars around quickly (150 - 200m/min) and to position them precisely as well. We currently supply two different SBZ models:

SBZ profile bar machining centre used for machining steel reinforced plastic profiles and
SBZ COMPOSITE profile bar machining centre used for the machining of profiles with integrated or steel reinforcements
